Chapter 37: The Lost Prophecy
In this chapter... Harry waits for Professor Dumbledore in his study. He feels that Sirius’s death is his entire fault. When Dumbledore arrives, Harry lets out his frustration and anger by destroying objects in Dumbledore’s office. He only quits when Dumbledore claims responsibility for Sirius's death, and begins to tell Harry the truth about Harry's past. Dumbledore tells Harry a great many things, but most importantly he is able to relate the full prophecy that Professor Trewlaney made about Harry and Voldemort. Harry finds out that it's his destiny to battle Voldemort to the death.

“It is time,” he said, “for me to tell you what I should have told you five years ago, Harry. Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything.”

Who did Kreacher go to see, shortly before Christmas? Narcissa Malfoy

Chapter 38: The Second War Begins

In this chapter... The Daily Prophet announces the return of Lord Voldemort, and praises Harry for being "the lone voice of truth". Harry can’t decide if it is worse being alone or being with people. Everybody is recovering well in the Hospital Wing. Professor McGonagall returns to the school, back to full fitness, and Professor Umbridge leaves the school. The knowledge that he will one day have to fight Voldemort to the death leaves Harry feeling separate from everyone else and very much alone. Harry finds comfort in the unlikely source of Luna Lovegood. She witnessed her mother die – this is why she can see Thestrals. She reassures Harry that one day he will see Sirius again, just as she will see her mother again one day. When the Hogwarts Express reaches King’s Cross Station again, Harry is met by all the Weasleys, Lupin, Mad Eye, and Tonks. They all troop over to where the Dursleys are standing and threaten them into treating Harry with respect. It means more than he can say that his friends stick up for him, and as he leaves with the Dursleys he smiles and waves farewell.

“What are you doing, Potter?” said Snape coldly as ever, as he strode over to the four of them.
“I’m trying to decide what curse to use on Malfoy, sir,” said Harry fiercely.

Who did Luna see die? Her mother
