Chapter 17: The Four Champions
In this chapter... Harry is totally stunned. He knows he never put his name in the Goblet…although he may have daydreamed of doing so. He finally goes into the back room, where the other Triwizard competitors are waiting.
Fleur, Viktor and Cedric are very confused how Harry’s name got choosen too – there should be only one competitor per school. Ludo Bagman seems to be the only person, who seems to be pleased that Harry’s name was drawn.. Madame Maxime and Professor Karkaoff seem to believe that Professor Dumbledore is trying to cheat a win with two champions. Harry is not allowed to duck out now, when a name is drawn, the competitor have to take part. Professor Snape seems very sceptical, while Professor Dumbledore seems just puzzled. Professor Moody believes someone put Harry’s name in the goblet as a cleverly disguised assassination attempt. Harry is extremely confused, and is glad to get back to the Gryffindor Common Room. All the Gryffindors are delighted that Harry is one of the champions, and really want to know how Harry managed to get his name in the Goblet. When he gets upstairs Harry is shocked to discover Ron doesn’t believe that he didn’t put his name in. They get into a heated argument, and both go to bed fuming.

“Harry, Cedric, I suggest you go up to bed,” said Dumbledore, smiling at both of them. “I am sure Gryffindor and Hufflepuff are waiting to celebrate with you, and it would be a shame to deprive them of this excellent excuse to make a great deal of mess and noise.”

Where does the Fat Lady’s Friend, Violet, live? In a painting in a room next to the Great Hall

Chapter 18: The Weighing Of The Wands

In this chapter... Harry writes to Sirius the next day about what happened with the Goblet of Fire. Hermione says that she believes him – and Sirius is better learning from Harry rather from the Daily Prophet. Harry sends the letter with a school owl – Hedwig is too notiable. It is bound to be reported. Ron is still furious with Harry, and Harry is not ready to makes friends with him yet. The Hufflepuffs, are very cold to Harry – they all ignore him in Herbology. They consider Cedric should have been the only Triwizard Chamption. The Slytherins – particually Draco, Crabbe and Goyle – enjoy tormenting Harry (and Ron and Hermione) by making badges that flash POTTER STINKS.
During Potions class Harry is summoned upstairs for a photo shoot with the rest of the champions. Rita Skeeter, the snooping journalist from the Daily Prophet, corners him for an interview. Rita uses a quill that is magical – the H notes she is taking don’t tell the truth about him or what he’s saying. Harry is rescued by Professor Dumbledore, who summons him forward to have his wand weighed and inspected. The wand weigher is Mr Ollivander, who Harry brought his wand from, three years ago. One by one, Mr. Ollivander checks the wands, pronouncing them all fit to compete. He reaches Harry’s wand last, and Harry holds his breath, hoping that Mr. Ollivander isn’t about to announce to the whole room that his wand is related to Voldemort’s. Mr. Ollivander does say he remembers Harry’s wand, but says nothing else about it and, after examining it for a much longer time than any of the others, states that it, too, is in perfect condition. Later, in the Gryffindor dormitory, Harry finds a letter from Sirius, who tells him to meet him at the Gryffindor fire in a few weeks.

So Fleur was part veela, thought Harry, making a mental note to tell Ron…then he remembered that Ron wasn’t speaking to him.

At the Weighing of the Wands Ceremony, what kind of creation does Mr Ollivander think Krum's wand is? A Gregorovitch
