Chapter 11: Aboard The Hogwarts Express
In this chapter...The next day, everybody is returning to Hogwarts. Amos Diggory appears in the Weasley’s fire, with a urgent message for Mr Weasley. Mr Weasley has to help out ex-Auror Mad-Eye Moody, who used magic in front of Muggles when he thought he heard an intruder. A Auror is a Dark Wizard catcher – Moody had put lot of Dark Wizards in Azkaban. Moody seems much more wary of people lately. Mrs Weasley, Bill and Charlie take everybody to King’s Cross Station. They hire Muggle taxis. They give tantalizing hints as to what special event is coming up at Hogwarts.
While on the Hogwarts Express, the overhear Draco Malfoy talking about another forgiegn school – Durnstrang – which does a lot more with the Dark Arts. The Malfoy family consider Professor Dumbledore a Muggle lover. The Trio argue with Malfoy when he scoffs at them for not knowing about the event. Draco teases Ron mercilessly over his dress robes, which happened to be hanging out of Ron’s suitcase. It is pouring with rain when they finally arrive at Hogwarts Station and head to Hogwarts Castle.

“But Hogwarts is hidden,” said Hermione, in surprise. “Everyone knows that…well, everyone who’s read Hogwarts, A History, anyway.”
“Just you, then,” said Ron.

Chapter 12: The Triwizard Tournament

In this chapter... The Sorting is soon done. Colin Creevey – the third year who worships Harry, and taking photographs – is delighted that his younger brother, Dennis, has also been sorted in Gryffindor. Hermione finds out from Nearly Headless Nick that all the food in the castle is cooked by house elves she’s horrified, and refuses to eat another bite, saying it’s cooked by "slave labor". In the start of term speech, Professor Dumbledore tells the students that the Quidditch Cup will not be held this year . He is interupted by somebody entering the Great Hall. . A wizened, peg-legged man stumps to the table and, to the amazement of everyone, Dumbledore announces that this man, Mad-Eye Moody, is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
Professor Dumbledore explains that the reason no Quidditch Cup will be held is because the Triwizard Tournament will be hosted at Hogwarts this year. It’s a competition between the 3 wizarding schools of Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons. A School Champion is selected and competes in a series of tests for the honor of his or her school. Professor Dumbledore tells the students that there will be an age limit – the witch or wizard have to be of age (17) – since the tests are difficult and dangerous. Fred and George immediately start plotting on how they’re going to fool the impartial judge and get into the tournament.

“I mean, you’re not supposed to see them, are you? That’s the mark of a good house-elf, isn’t it, that you don’t know it’s there?”
