Saturday 26th May – 56 days

Chapter 3: The Invitation
In this chapter... Dudley has been put on a strict holiday, for the summer, which means the whole Dursley family is on a diet – including Harry. However, Harry gets supplies from Ron, Hermione, Hagrid and Sirius. As breakfast finishes, the post arrives. Uncle Vernon os extremely annoyed – Mrs Weasley has sent Harry a letter and the envelope is nearly full of postage stamps. The Weasley’s invite Harry to the Quidditch World Cup, and volunteer to come pick him up at the Dursley’s if he’s allowed to go. They will collect him the next day. Begrudgingly Uncle Vernon allows him to go. Harry races upstairs to eat a decent breakfast of birthday cake, feeling enormously happy. He sends a letter to Sirius and to Ron.

He held up the envelope in which Mrs Weasley’s letter had come, and Harry had to fight down a laugh. Every bit of it was covered in stamps except for a square inch on the front, into which Mrs Weasley had squeezed the Dursleys’ address in minute writing.
“She did put enough stamps on, then” said Harry, trying to sound as though Mrs Weasley’s was a mistake anyone could make.

What did Hagrid send Harry when Harry told him the Dursleys were on a diet? Rock cakes

Chapter 4: Back to the Burrow

In this chapter... The next day, Harry awaits the Weasley’s. He is worried what the Dursleys might say to his friends. Pandemonium breaks loose when the Weasley’s show up in the fireplace. They have used Floo Powder. The only problem is,is that the Dursleys fireplace is blocked up so the Weasleys are trapped in the chimney. The Weasleys blast their way into the Dursley’s living room. Ron, Fred and George have come with Mr Weasley. Just as the Weasleys are leaving with Harry, Fred and George "accidently" let some jinxed sweets fall from their pockets. Dudley, starving from his diet, immediately eats one. His tongue begins to grow at an alarming rate. Uncle Vernon almost comes to blows with Mr. Weasley as he tries to sort it out, and Harry escapes through the fire to the Burrow, laughing fit to burst.

Ron’s voice now joined the others’.
“What are we doing here? Has something gone wrong?”
“Oh no, Ron,” cane Fred’s voice, very sarcastically. “No, this is exactly where we wanted to end up.”

What happens to Dudley after he eats one of the toffees that drop out of Fred Weasley's pocket? His tongue turns purple and grows until its four feet long
